With a background in performing arts,
Candice Radin's musical passion was established
at an early age. Music has always been an
important part of her life, from playing
the piano to studying ballet and different
dance forms. Candice acquired a taste for
the beats of electronic dance music years
ago when she attended her first underground
rave in Ohio. After years of being immersed
in the EDM scene, she was no longer satisfied
with just listening to the music. Her infatuation
with the music guided her to buy her first
turntables. In 2002, her DJing led her out
of the bedroom and to open-tables nights.
Her talent quickly developed, and she soon
started playing weekends at Abbasso in Cleveland.
Soon after she started to play at Abbasso,
Candice began performing at different events
and clubs around the Cleveland area, including
Metropolis, Twist Social Club, Wish, Cloud
9, Karma, Rain, Touch, B-Side, Remix Lounge,
and various one-offs. Candice has also spun
events outside of the Cleveland area to
expose her music to new audiences.
Originally a progressive-house DJ, Candice
eventually diverged into the world of minimal
techno and tech-house. Refusing to be limited
to one genre, Candice’s tastes range
from breaks to house to underground minimal
beats. Candice combines superb mixing with
a diverse selection of music and technical
ingenuity.
